      YUM, good idea!

SWEET! Love mine! Make something with a meringue… or an angel food cake… something requiring perfectly whooped eggs. Also great for mixing up meatloaf.
Also, get the meat grinding attachment when you can. We grind all our meat ourselves and it’s delish! And nice knowing which part of the animal you’re eating.

Attachments high on the to-purchase list are: meat grinder, pasta roller/cutter, and the grain mill. This baby is definitely going to change our lives in a delicious way!

We got my dad an ice-cream maker attachment and it works really well!

If I hadn’t already purchased Jason an ice cream maker for his birthday, I’d consider it! 🙂

As long as ice cream is being made!

Ahhhh *dies of jealousy* You should make some really awesome cake…like red velvet. Maybe not the most creative idea but I love me some red velvet cake. Or you could make it blue instead of red! Awesome!

Oh, there will definitely be cake in this house soon!

Hey – brownies work for me.

    1. admin May 25, 2011 at 6:33 pm

I am feeling in a pretty brownie-ish mood. It’s grey and chilly out today and some warm, oozy brownies would really hit the spot.

My suggestion on what to make: enough to share with all of us! 😉

My vote is for bread of some kind. I use mine to make cinnamon rolls and it’s amazing, you don’t have to knead the dough because that fantastically awesome machine does it for you. Have fun with it!!

I can’t WAIT to grind my own flour and then make bread from it!

  6. princessgeek May 25, 2011 at 7:01 pm

I vote brownies with homemade whipped cream on top.

It IS super hefty! It’s going to live on the counter unlike my teeny weeny powderpuff wolfgang puck stand mixer.

I would be scared to approach it in case it attacks!

    I burnt out my dad’s ’76 KitchenAid.

The last one I used, though, was a Hobart. The smaller 20quart version.

Wouldn’t use nothin’ else for mashed potatoes!

That looks like a place where food goes to have a steel cage match.

I got 1 too! For Mother’s Day. I know, not the worlds most romantic gift but it’s a nice one to have. You’re way ahead of me though, mines still in the box in the closet! Can’t wait to see what you make with it!!!!

    1. admin May 29, 2011 at 7:23 am

      It made *me* swoon.

      1. Kathy August 21, 2011 at 8:44 am

well, after sitting, unopened in the box for 2 months, I took it back. yes, we might have used it once or twice a year and it would for sure ahve been great, I just couldn’t justify. plus, I had a friend move to China and I wanted to replace my ipod for the new version with a camera so I can facetime with her. heh…haven’t gotten that yet either
