Have you seen this soul portrait business? Basically, you pay someone with photoshop and dubious magic powers two hundred and fifty bucks to transform a photo of you into a high-quality ‘portrait of your soul’. Based on the examples given, people’s souls tend to either be invested in eastern religion and/or wizard masters.

But why should I get him to do it? Who knows my soul better than me?

This is the MSPaint version of my soul. The photoshop version, when I get around to it, is sure to look more soul-y.

If you would like me to make a soul portrait of you, please comment with a photo of yourself–an image that you feel is highly representative of the real you. I will meditate to discover your ‘unique essence’ (translation: I will snort cheeto dust accidentally and black out for a moment) and then I will turn this photo into a serious masterpiece, suitable for framing, LJ icons, and the occasional t-shirt.

      The only problem is that you need to act like you’re seriously invested in hoo hoo mystic bullshit. But I bet it could be a lucrative side business–if I wasn’t undercutting you this second by making free ones.

    I guess Kirelian photography was too difficult for the run-of-the-mill nutcase.

    Then again, we’re calling him the nutcase when obviously at least 5 people have shelled out for this. That’s at least $750 according to his prices. And no telling what he’s made from the “museum-grade” crystals.

    LMAO!!! I think your photos are more realistic than his!!!! And I’m kind of impressed that you actually got that done in MSPaint, which is the most crap program known to man.

      It does truly, truly suck. I get it, MS, it’s free, but seriously? How about layers? Or the ability to rotate something to a degree that’s not a multiple of 90?

            My friend Jason works with the rollergirls and has been trying to lure me out to skating nights in Lynnwood. They all have a regular Monday night skate from 8:30-10:30 which seems like fun. I totes wanna go sometime. Maybe get a group. It is early for those who it is a school night for, and it is also my PRECIOUS FRIDAY.

            I forced people to go skating for my birthday a couple years ago and I really airplaned my arms around until I got my balance. I still haven’t figured out stopping, though.

            Of course… it would really depend on the function of the laser. Maybe it has multiple settings. I’d hate to go around slicing holes in ceilings, my car… or other things, if I ever bend over. Stuff would always be falling on me. It could really become a hassle.

            However, if I could use the light setting most of the time, and only switch to heat or slicing power when I need to remove someone’s spider veins, perfom lasik, do some metal work, or go to battle, that would be awesome.
